Licensed 310T mechanics can keep Thunder Bay school buses safe and reliable at First Student on a full-time Monday–Friday day shift.
First Student is hiring a Licensed 310T Mechanic for its Thunder Bay shop. You will maintain vehicles carrying students, diagnose diesel and automotive concerns, and complete repairs across major vehicle systems. The work supports safe, dependable transportation for local families and communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain vehicles and ensure passenger safety
- Diagnose and repair brakes, engines, suspensions, and transmissions
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Complete work orders accurately
- Assist with mobile emergency repairs when needed
- Licensed 310T mechanic
- Diesel or automotive maintenance and repair experience
- Vehicle diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Mechanic’s tool set and strong computer skills
