HSE Coordinator

Join Bird as an HSE Coordinator on a 6-month contract located in Thunder Bay, ON. Ensure safe production practices and compliance with health and safety legislation throughout project life cycles.

As an HSE Coordinator, you will support the project team with the implementation of HSE programs while collaborating with the Leadership Team and the Senior HSE Director.

Your role will involve auditing policies, overseeing safety coordinators, and leading incident investigations to maintain project safety standards. Make a significant impact by enhancing safety within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a culture of ethical safety standards

• Collaborate with stakeholders on HSE implementation

• Audit Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems

• Lead Serious Incident Investigations promptly

• Report on HSE statistics and improve processes

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field

• Experience in Health and Safety roles preferred

• Knowledge of OH&S/OSHA regulations required

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus

• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
