City Facility Attendant Role

Engage with the community as a Facility Attendant for the City of Thunder Bay. Ensure cleanliness and safety while providing excellent public service.

In this part-time role, reporting to the Program Supervisor for Customer Service & Programs, you will focus on public relations and facility management tasks. Your duties encompass tours, maintenance monitoring, and overall visitor assistance, contributing to an inviting and effective recreational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with public tours and information distribution

• Monitor facilities for cleanliness and user safety

• Handle cleaning and laundry responsibilities

• Maintain organized locker and supply areas

• Oversee drop-in access for classes and programs

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 9 education

• Strong communication skills for public interaction

• Background in sports or public relations is beneficial

• Obtain required certifications within three months

• Available for evening and weekend shifts
