Long Lake 58 First Nation Education Authority
is currently looking to fill the following position for the 2026/2027 school year with possibility for extension at Migizi Wazisin Elementary School.

Education Assistant
Qualifications / Requirements

Diploma in the field would be an asset

Work experience in the field would be an asset

Work experience in a school setting would be an asset

Ability to work under supervision and independently

Must work effectively as part of a team

Must have strong written and communication skills

To work with individual student and in group settings

Familiar with privacy, confidentiality, and duty to report

Responsibilities
Will provide assistance with:
Knowledge of privacy, confidentiality, and duty to report. Knowledge of community support services, First Nation culture, history, community-based services, geographic realities and social conditions within First Nations Communities.
