Position: Career Zone Specialist Role
Join Lakehead University as a Career Zone Specialist focused on fostering student employment success. This role emphasizes direct support in both career guidance and event management.

In this collaborative position, you will report to the Manager of Career Education & Operations at the Thunder Bay campus. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising the Career Zone environment and providing essential career services like resume workshops, job search coaching, and interviewing skills. You'll also play a central role in organizing diverse career events, enhancing student resources, and ensuring proper communication across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Career Zone is inclusive and supportive

• Organize multi-partner career-related events

• Lead and mentor student volunteers

• Develop marketing strategies to engage students

• Approve job postings for digital job boards

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in business or related field

• 2 years in event or marketing coordination

• Excellent customer service orientation

• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office tools

• Commitment to equity and diversity in service delivery
