The City of Thunder Bay is seeking an Early Childhood Educator I to support children's learning and development. This role involves interacting with children, assisting in cooking and housekeeping, and maintaining a clean environment. You will also collaborate with staff and connect with parents to enhance the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct children's participation in planned activities

• Assist with cooking and cleaning tasks

• Maintain an orderly and clean center

• Interact with parents and staff members

• Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in early childhood education or equivalency

• Knowledge of the Ontario Child Care and Early Years Act

• Effective communication skills, orally and in writing

• Demonstrated ability to work well with others

• Must pass a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
