Traffic Counting Assistant

Enhance your technical skills as a Traffic Counting Assistant in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This role involves traffic counts, data analysis, and supporting engineering activities under expert supervision.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Design and Field Engineering, you will assist with traffic data collection and various engineering tasks. Candidates should be full-time students returning to school after the academic year. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct automated traffic counts and analyze data

• Support programming of speed signs and pedestrian counters

• Participate in traffic data collection and analysis

• Recommend solutions for identified traffic issues

• Execute other assigned engineering duties

Requirements:

• Must be a full-time student returning to school

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Valid Ontario Class G driver's license required

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel preferred
