Chemical Engineer Pulp & Paper

Drive innovation as a Bilingual Chemical Engineer in the pulp and paper sector, based in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

We are looking for a chemical engineer with a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years' experience in the pulp and paper industry. Proficiency in both English and French is essential for effective communication with stakeholders. Travel is an integral part of the position, involving audits and site troubleshooting to maximize efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide key technical support in chemical applications

• Monitor and enhance process performance and efficiency

• Conduct site visits and necessary troubleshooting

• Work collaboratively with operational teams for quality improvement

• Prepare comprehensive technical reports
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

• At least 3 years in the pulp and paper industry

• Bilingual in English and French

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Willingness to travel regularly
