This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong underground mining and project management experience who can work effectively in a fast‑paced operational environment while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- Support underground technical services improvement and expansion projects
- Assist with underground capital projects alongside Site Projects
- Build and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans
- Coordinate with Ops, Maintenance, Geology, Ventilation, Ground Control, and Survey. Conduct underground inspections
- Track progress and report on schedule, cost, risk, and deliverables.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, mine optimization, and design reviews
- Identify efficiency and cost improvement opportunities
- Maintain technical documents, standards, and ad hoc projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
- Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer.
- Previous project management or project engineering experience in a mining environment is required.
- Strong understanding of underground mining methods, mine development, and underground infrastructure. (5 Years)
- Experience supporting underground capital or sustaining projects considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Deswik, AutoCAD, or other mine planning and project management software considered an asset.
- Physically capable of performing underground fieldwork, including walking steep grades and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Class G driver’s license required.
- Base salary range from $95,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Opportunity to earn up to a targeted 12.5% bonus on top of the proposed wage.
