Position: Engineer-in-Training for Drill & Blast

Equinox Gold Corp is looking for a dedicated Drill & Blast Engineer-in-Training to assist with the Greenstone Mine project. In this position, you will gain valuable experience in mine planning and drill design. Your contributions will include supporting project management activities and design tasks while ensuring adherence to safety standards and effective workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead construction project management from initiation to conclusion

• Create and manage scopes of work and funding documents

• Collaborate with consultants and contractors for project success

• Execute field inspections and coordinate with survey teams

• Develop automation workflows for engineering tasks in Deswik

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field

• Minimum 1-year experience in mining, with a focus on open-pit

• Proficiency in CAD software, ideally Deswik

• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills

• Eligibility for Professional Engineers Ontario registration
