Metallurgical Technician in Geraldton

Location: Greenstone

Elevate plant efficiency as a Metallurgical Technician based in Geraldton, Ontario. This role involves providing vital metallurgical support and optimizing operations on a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation.

As a Metallurgical Technician, you will report to the Senior Metallurgist and drive improvements in metallurgical performance. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting plant processes, maintaining quality control programs, and ensuring safety while maximizing metal recovery. This position is perfect for someone proactive, with a strong foundation in metallurgical analysis and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide metallurgical support and troubleshooting for plant projects

• Maintain quality control programs and operating procedures

• Analyze samples to enhance plant performance

• Generate precise metallurgical reports and assist with monitoring

• Manage projects for optimal recovery within budget

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a CIP gold plant

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Minitab

• Understanding of plant optimization techniques

• Diploma in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering

• Valid driver's license and safety certifications
