Position: Geraldton Metallurgical Technician Role
Location: Greenstone

Join our Geraldton team as a Metallurgical Technician where you will enhance plant performance and stability on a rotating schedule. This role emphasizes metallurgical support and quality assurance.

You will work closely with the Senior Metallurgist to implement metallurgical strategies that improve operational efficiency. Key skills will include process analysis, project management, and maintaining safety in all operations. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in metallurgical analysis, capable of generating reliable reports and providing technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and support metallurgical processes and projects

• Establish quality control and operating strategies

• Ensure efficient throughput and product quality

• Conduct performance monitoring and generate reports

• Optimize productivity with production and maintenance support

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a CIP gold plant environment

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Minitab

• Proven knowledge of metallurgical testing procedures

• Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering

• Valid driver's license required
