Metallurgical Technician at Equinox Gold

Become a key player at Equinox Gold Corp as a Metallurgical Technician based in Geraldton, Ontario. Enhance plant performance through metallurgical support and optimization strategies in a hybrid work model.

This full-time role focuses on providing technical and operational support to enhance stability and efficiency at the Greenstone Mine, one of Canada's largest gold mines. You will report to the Senior Metallurgist and engage in key responsibilities that include quality control, performance analysis, and project management aimed at boosting metallurgical output and minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide metallurgical support for process plant projects

• Establish quality control programs and operating procedures

• Analyze plant samples to enhance throughput and recovery

• Generate precise metallurgical reports and monitor performance

• Manage projects for improved metal recovery and safety

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a CIP gold plant

• Strong background in metallurgical analysis and plant optimization

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Minitab

• SAP experience is an asset

• Valid driver's license
