Environmental Supervisor - Mining Industry Focus

Location: Greenstone

Take the lead in environmental compliance as an Environmental Supervisor with Equinox Gold in Geraldton, ON. Focus on safety and sustainability while managing critical environmental projects.

As part of Equinox Gold's operations, you will be engaged in a rotation of 14 days on and 14 days off.

Your role will emphasize compliance monitoring across various media, leadership in environmental initiatives, and the development of best practice procedures. Your expertise in legislation and experience in mining will support a vision of operational excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and standards

• Lead site inspections and prepare environmental programs

• Enhance procedures to reflect best industry practices

• Work closely with teams to support environmental goals

• Foster a culture of safety and compliance among employees

Requirements:

• 5 years of mining industry experience

• 1 year in a supervisory capacity

• Understanding of Ontario environmental legislation

• Proficient in data management systems

• Hold a valid driver's license
