Take on a pivotal role at Greenstone Mine as a Senior Drill and Blast Coordinator. This FIFO opportunity based in Geraldton, Ontario demands expertise in overseeing drill and blast engineering and driving optimization strategies.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising Engineers, ensuring best practices in drill and blast activities, and enhancing efficiency across operations. Your leadership will directly impact the safety and effectiveness of the blasting process in an open pit mining context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise team of drill and blast engineers

• Drive open pit blast optimization initiatives

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

• Propose process improvements for efficiency

• Maintain thorough document control and operating procedures

Requirements:

• At least 6 years in open pit drill and blast experience

• Background in hard-rock mining is preferred

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 and CAD, particularly Deswik

• Excellent communication and detail-oriented skills

• Dedication to workplace safety and inclusion
