Intermediate Mechanical Designer at Samuel

Contribute to automation design as an Intermediate Mechanical Designer ’ll turn complex requirements into impactful, cost-efficient designs while ensuring safety and functionality.

In your role, you will manage the design process with guidance from senior team members. Your responsibilities will include executing CAD designs and maintaining document quality,  while coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams to streamline project workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical design expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and verify mechanical components for automation systems

• Create and maintain essential design documentation, including BOMs

• Collaborate with Electrical teams for equipment integration

• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to address issues early

• Lead smaller design projects, maintaining focus on technical accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 6-8 years mechanical design experience

• Strong command of Solid Works, PDM, and AutoCAD

• Proficient verbal and written communicator
