DMC Mining Services is searching for a Senior Engineer with a specialization in Automation. This permanent role is critical for developing and reviewing process control systems tailored for the mining sector. You will lead technical initiatives and provide high-level expertise to ensure all projects meet established engineering and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess feasibility and scope of engineering projects
• Create drawings and documentation for industrial controls
• Develop automation criteria and specifications
• Review engineering outputs for quality and compliance
• Mentor intermediate and junior engineers on best practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or similar
• Professional Engineer license in Ontario
• Minimum 10 years in heavy industry automation
• Familiarity with mining engineering codes
• Proficient with relevant engineering software tools
