Position: Clerk 2-PT(.5)-Bariatric Surgical Clinic
Reporting to the Manager ‑ Complex & Chronic Diseases,the Clerk II provides highly professional and confidential

administrative support to the Programs and other health care professionals within the within the Complex and

Chronic Disease Clinical environment. The Clerk II organizes the details relating to day to day operations, creates

and maintains accurate statistical records; maintain patient records.

Qualifications:

* Secondary School Graduation Diploma

* Medical Terminology Course

* Medical Office Administration Diploma an asset

* Ability to transcribe physicians' dictation

* Ability to enter 55 w.p.m. accurately on a computer keyboard.

* Experience with Meditech scheduling and registration system

* Knowledge of Meditech ADM and CWS programs is required.

* Must be able to handle multi‑line telephones

* Experience with gathering and compiling statistical data

* Works well under pressure and with a minimum of supervision.

* Good interpersonal, organizational, communication and telephone skills.

* N Compass and Telemedicine Equipment Training (can be provided by OTN)

Salary Range: $27.083 to 27.772
