Indigenous Liaison

Position: Indigenous Recruitment Liaison
Make a meaningful impact with Dilico as an Indigenous Recruitment Liaison in Thunder Bay, ON. This full-time role focuses on recruiting Indigenous candidates and fostering community engagement.

In this key position, you will develop recruitment strategies under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager. Collaborating with community partners, you'll engage with Indigenous students and job seekers to enhance career opportunities. Your work will center on promoting cultural values and inclusion in all recruitment practices while raising awareness of employment and educational pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies

• Engage with Indigenous communities and stakeholders

• Increase awareness of career and educational opportunities

• Provide culturally relevant guidance and support

• Ensure alignment of practices with Indigenous values

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field

• Minimum 3 years experience with Indigenous communities

• Familiarity with recruitment and HR systems, preferably ADP

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Ability to pass a criminal records check
