Linksoft is seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the technical and strategic delivery of a comprehensive data architecture assessment for a client engagement. This is an expert-led advisory role focused on assessment and recommendations rather than implementation.

• Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture assessments.
• Create current-state architecture documentation and governance frameworks.
• Review and sign off on data engineering deliverables.
• Provide migration readiness recommendations for O365 and Azure ecosystem.
• Develop risk registers, executive reports, and presentation decks.
• Collaborate with GCP Data Engineering teams.

• Strong experience with Google Big Query and Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).
• Experience in Azure Data Factory or equivalent orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview for governance and lineage.
• Completed Big Query to Azure migration projects.
• Data governance, compliance, and regulatory knowledge (GDPR, CCPA).
• Executive-level documentation and client-facing delivery experience.

• Snowflake experience.
• Power BI or Looker exposure.
• dbt familiarity.
• Google Workspace to O365 migration experience.
• Experience in SaaS or PE-backed businesses.

• 10+ years in data engineering or data architecture.
• Minimum one Big Query to Azure migration project.
• Consulting or contractor delivery experience.
• Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
