Housekeeping Associate with City

Be a key part of maintaining hygiene and safety as a Housekeeping Associate with the City of Thunder Bay. This full-time role focuses on routine cleaning and equipment management.

As a Housekeeping Associate, you will report to the Environmental Services Supervisor and take charge of cleaning projects and daily tasks to cultivate an appealing atmosphere. Operating specialized cleaning equipment and adhering to safety guidelines are essential parts of your responsibilities at Pioneer Ridge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine cleaning and special project tasks

• Operate automatic scrubbers and other equipment

• Safely manage chemicals and body fluids

• Keep records for the Total Quality Management Program

• Attend meetings and training as required

Requirements:

• Minimum grade 10 education or equivalent

• Previous experience in institutional housekeeping required

• Must work well independently and in teams

• Good physical condition necessary for demands

• COVID-19 vaccination proof required
