Position: Field Supervisor for Transit Operations

This full-time position offers hands-on leadership within the Transit Division, balancing coaching and operational supervision. You will play a key role in ensuring transit service reliability while addressing challenges and adhering to safety regulations. Your decisions impact the effectiveness of public transit across the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Section staff and monitor operational performance

• Ensure adherence to tight service schedules

• Inspect and address infrastructure defects and hazards

• Document and investigate workplace incidents thoroughly

• Facilitate safety compliance through audits and training

Requirements:

• Diploma in relevant disciplines or equivalent experience

• Minimum five years in transit operations field

• Supervisory background, preferably in a unionized setting

• Active Class ‘G’ driver's license

• Strong report writing and communication skills
