As a Bail Program Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Legal Services while managing a team of Indigenous Bail Verification and Community Release Workers.
Your role is crucial for ensuring the seamless function of the Bail Program and engaging with community partners. Knowledge of social justice and Indigenous issues is vital in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily functions of the Bail Program office
• Supervise Indigenous Bail Verification Workers and Community Release Workers
• Engage with stakeholders for outreach and education
• Provide updates to the Director of Legal Services
• Monitor operational needs and address issues promptly
Requirements:
• Minimum two years in social or justice services
• Knowledge of colonialism and discrimination issues
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Flexibility for evening and weekend work
• Criminal record check required
Lead the Bail Program with community focus and critical insights into social justice issues.
