Elevate material handling processes at Equinox Gold in Geraldton, Ontario, as a Mill Maintenance Material Handling Specialist. Focus on efficient resource management while prioritizing safety.

In this essential role, you'll report to the Mill Maintenance Senior Planner, ensuring materials support Mill Mechanical and related activities. Collaboration is key as you ensure compliance with production and safety standards. The role encompasses managing repair processes, overseeing material staging areas, and coordinating with various departments for effective planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise material management and return processes

• Maintain inventories of tools and consumables

• Update work orders with material locations

• Ensure housekeeping around critical areas

• Coordinate with supervisors for short-term planning

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and previous material management experience

• Capability to work independently and under pressure

• Experience in base metal processing or related fields

• Familiarity with SAP or CMMS systems is beneficial

• Valid Class G Driver's License
