Machinist Role Facility

Dingwell's Global is looking for a talented Machinist for its Thunder Bay, ON manufacturing facility. Contribute your extensive machining experience to operate tools with precision.

We require a machinist who can plan, set up, and operate a range of machine tools safely and effectively. Your responsibilities will involve understanding blueprints, executing quality checks, and helping improve machining processes. Daily maintenance of machines and teamwork across shifts are vital for achieving our production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan machining based on work orders and engineering plans

• Adjust and maintain tools and equipment meticulously

• Perform quality inspections on produced parts

• Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean environment

• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers for efficiency

Requirements:

• At least five years in the machining trade

• Experience with both manual and automated machining tools

• Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work independently and in teams

• Possession of an Ontario Machinist Certificate is a plus
