Registered Nurse in Critical Care

Elevate patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Deliver quality nursing while adhering to patient-centered values.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Registered Nurse with experience in Critical Care Nursing. You will provide compassionate care to complex patients, practicing under the hospital’s mission and values. Important skills include strong communication and the ability to manage multiple nursing interventions effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage complex patient conditions

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team

• Facilitate patient-centered care planning and delivery

• Maintain Central Venous Line and perform arrhythmia interpretation

• Monitor and respond to changes in patient status
Requirements:

• Must have unrestricted registration as an RN in Ontario

• Current BCLS certification

• Recent Critical Care Nursing experience

• Strong interprofessional communication capabilities

• Preference for certifications in TNCC, PALS, ACLS
