Registered Nurse Float Position

Join Hemodialysis Thunder Bay as a Registered Nurse Float, focusing on outstanding patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Your nursing expertise is critical in enhancing care for complex patients.

In this part-time role, you'll report to the Manager Northwest Regional Renal Program, providing care in a patient-centered philosophy. This position requires the ability to manage challenging patient situations effectively, utilizing your recent experience in renal and hemodialysis nursing within a supportive healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver care centered on individual patient and family needs

• Participate in team collaboration and healthcare delivery

• Implement the Nursing Process for individualized care

• Assess and respond to complex patient conditions

• Balance various nursing procedures simultaneously

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license with Ontario’s College of Nurses

• Current BCLS certification

• Proven experience in renal and hemodialysis care

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Preference given to candidates with Nephrology Certification
