Casual Foot Care Nurse

Join Nor West Community Health Centres as a casual Foot Care Nurse in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This role emphasizes disease prevention and health promotion while providing essential foot care services to clients.

We are looking for RPN/RN candidates with a minimum of two years' experience in foot care. As part of a community health team, you will assist in delivering primary care services, focusing on education and empowerment.

Your role includes no scheduled rotation, with flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive foot care services to clients

• Assist in delivering primary care within the community

• Utilize electronic medical records for client assessments

• Identify clients' health needs professionally and sensitively

• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team setting

Requirements:

• RPN or RN with good standing College of Nurses registration

• Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience

• Certification in Basic and Advanced Foot Care

• Proficient in nursing procedures and assessments

• Strong communication and organizational skills
