Position: Registered Nurse for Primary Care & Addiction
Location: Longlac

Make a difference with Nor West Community Health Centres as a Registered Nurse for Rapid Access Addiction Medicine and Primary Care in Longlac, ON. Provide low-barrier addiction care and support to clients and families.

In this full-time role, you will encompass nursing duties within both the RAAM clinic and the Primary Care team. Your compassionate approach will focus on harm reduction and evidence-based practices for vulnerable populations, providing them with the necessary education and support. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be crucial to fulfilling the role’s responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing services in RAAM and Primary Care

• Conduct outreach and educational support for clients

• Assess clients’ physical and psychosocial needs

• Implement health promotion education initiatives

• Comply with standards set by the College of Nurses

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• 3+ years of nursing experience in various settings

• Required knowledge in addictions nursing

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
