Part Time Registered Nurse

Deliver impactful nursing care as a part-time Registered Nurse at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Lead efforts in maternal newborn care within a patient-centered environment.

In this role, you will provide quality nursing services, especially for complex patient populations. Reporting to the Manager of Labour/Delivery, anticipate using your expertise in maternity and perinatal nursing. This position demands collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to uphold the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and fulfill the hospital’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to maternal newborn patients

• Manage nursing interventions for complex cases

• Collaborate with Registered Practice Nurses on patient care

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care

• Engage in patient and family-centered care philosophy

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent maternity and perinatal nursing experience

• Certified in BCLS and Neonatal Resuscitation

• Strong communication and interprofessional skills

• Available for training in Fetal Health Surveillance preferred
