Registered Nurse Hemodialysis

Become an essential member of the healthcare team at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre as a Registered Nurse in Hemodialysis. Deliver quality care to complex renal patients and foster family-centered environments every day.

This position reports to the Manager of the Northwest Regional Renal Program and emphasizes the philosophy of Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC). You will need experience in renal nursing, especially in hemodialysis, and the ability to assess patient needs while managing multiple interventions. Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to hemodialysis patients

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Monitor and manage complex patient responses

• Educate patients on dialysis processes and care

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

• Recent experience in renal or hemodialysis nursing

• Strong interprofessional and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple nursing interventions
