Part-Time Foot Care Nurse Longlac

Location: Greenstone

Support community health as a Part-Time Foot Care Nurse at Nor West Community Health Centres in Longlac. This role focuses on providing crucial foot care services while promoting health and disease prevention.

The position requires a 0.5 FTE commitment, equating to 17.5 hours weekly, serving clients at the Longlac site. As an essential team member, you will emphasize health promotion, client education, and empowerment, alongside delivering primary care services to the community. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide foot care services to clients at the Longlac site

• Support primary care delivery and disease prevention initiatives

• Engage in client education and health empowerment activities

• Demonstrate knowledge in nursing procedures and assessments

• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to deliver care

Requirements:

• RPN or RN with good standing registration in Ontario

• Minimum two years of experience as a Foot Care Nurse

• Certification in Basic and Advanced Foot Care required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle
