As a Surgical Registered Nurse, you will provide critical care to complex patient populations, ensuring adherence to the Patient and Family Centred Care philosophy.
Your role includes working within the Professional Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario, contributing significantly to our mission of exceptional care. You will actively engage with patients and families, fostering a compassionate care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality nursing care to surgical patients
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary health care team
• Assess and plan individualized care for patients
• Identify abnormal patient responses and act accordingly
• Support Registered Practice Nurses in patient management
Requirements:
• Unrestricted RN registration with the College of Nurses
• Current BCLS certification
• Experience in surgical nursing for pre and postoperative patients
• Effective communication and interprofessional teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple nursing interventions simultaneously
