You’re comfortable working outdoors in all weather. You don’t shy away from long days, heavy lifting, or fast-paced job sites. You respect tools, equipment, and other people’s property. You don’t need to know everything — but you need to be willing to learn. If you have experience in landscaping, construction, or maintenance, that’s a bonus. If not, we will teach you — as long as you bring the right attitude and work ethic.
What You'll Do As a Landscaper at MD Landscape & Design, you’ll work primarily in our Landscape Design + Build and Property Maintenance divisions during the season. Depending on your experience level, your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with site preparation and grading Installing base materials for patios and walkways Laying interlocking stone Building retaining walls Installing sod, soil, and plant material Installing fencing Operating landscaping tools and equipment (we will train you) Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe Supporting crew leads to ensure projects are completed properly and on time As you grow in skill and experience, you’ll take on more responsibility and more advanced tasks.
During the winter months, you may also assist with snow removal operations to support our commercial and residential clients. This is hands-on, physical work — but it’s rewarding work. You’ll be part of building finished outdoor spaces you can stand back and be proud of. Who We Are MD Landscape & Design is a professional landscape construction and property maintenance company serving residential, commercial, and golf course clients.
We operate with structure and high standards. We use systems, checklists, and clear expectations to ensure quality work. We care about:

We expect effort, respect, and commitment. Minimum Requirements Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 70 pounds.
Availability to work from 7 AM to 5 PM, with minimal flexibility. Valid driver's license. Willingness to learn and follow instructions for product installation and adhere to safety protocols.
