This permanent position focuses on quality monitoring and inspection in highway construction. You'll utilize your knowledge of engineering materials and standards while providing essential support to field staff. Occasional overnight travel is required to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and report on highway construction quality assurance
• Oversee consultant testing laboratories for compliance
• Provide technical expertise to field staff and consultants
• Ensure adherence to highway construction standards
• Collect and analyze data to resolve quality issues
Requirements:
• Valid class 'G' driver's licence required
• Knowledge of highway construction materials and practices
• Diploma in civil engineering technology preferred
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
