Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will:

Wash all main kitchen and banquet kitchen dishes, glassware, and cutlery to ensure sufficient supplies are available at all times;

Clean the dishwashing machines, and jet components, including closing jet flaps;

Wash pots and pans, including kitchen utensils. Wash display mirrors in the main kitchen and banquet kitchen;

Clean ovens and stoves;

Sweep and mop the main kitchen floor, ensuring no debris is left under prep/cook areas or stoves;

Empty all garbage containers in the main kitchen and banquet kitchen into garbage dumpsters/recycling containers;

Break down all empty boxes and deposit them into a trash compactor or designated pick-up area. Once compacted, tie broken boxes with wire;

Clean loading dock daily;

Clean/maintain the cleanliness of the staff cafeteria, dishes, and cutlery;

Ensure the work area is clean and properly sanitized at all times;

Any other duties as instructed by the Executive Chef or Manager on Duty, including food preparation.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment;

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team;

Ability to meet the physical aspects of the position including but not limited to:
Constant standing and walking throughout shift;
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs;
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling;
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps;

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
