Store Associate

Position: Full Time Store Associate
Become a crucial part of The Salvation Army in Thunder Bay, Ontario as a Full Time Store Associate. This role focuses on customer service, product handling and retail operations to support community needs.

In this position, you will engage directly with customers and donors, ensuring exceptional service while sorting and processing donations. Your contributions will help meet store sales targets, maintain inventory control, and create an appealing shopping atmosphere. A strong commitment to The Salvation Army’s mission is essential in delivering meaningful service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers and donors positively

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

• Maintain store organization and cleanliness standards

• Sort, price, and display donated products

• Monitor inventory and assist with stock rotation

Requirements:

• Completion of some high school coursework

• Experience in customer service or goods processing

• Cash handling experience and familiarity with cash registers

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs frequently
