Licensed Security Guard

AFIMAC is looking for licensed Security Guards for immediate positions in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This role involves property patrols, report writing, and addressing trespassing issues.

Successful candidates will primarily work night shifts on a flexible schedule, ensuring safety and security on-site. Applicants must possess a valid Ontario security guard license and have strong de-escalation skills. With shifts ranging from 3-5 days per week, including weekends, this role offers the possibility of additional hours based on availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol property regularly to ensure security

• Conduct perimeter checks for unauthorized access

• Write detailed incident reports as necessary

• Handle confrontational situations with de-escalation techniques

• Fulfill other specified security duties

Requirements:

• Valid security guard license in Ontario

• Valid Class G driver's license

• Flexibility for 12-hour shifts, including weekends

• Strong report writing and English communication skills

• Ability to travel to Thunder Bay and be on-site
