As a Child Protection Worker, you will work under the Children’s Wellness Service Manager to provide essential protection to children in the agency’s care. This role requires a commitment to the Child and Family Services Act and ensuring high standards of care. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with Indigenous communities and relevant qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate child protection services according to policies

• Ensure needs of children in care are fully met

• Respond promptly to on-call service requirements

• Engage with families and community resources

• Prepare and manage necessary documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Minimum two-year diploma in Human Services; BSW preferred

• Experience with Anishinabek youth and families

• Satisfactory Criminal Records Search must be completed

• Must hold a valid Class G Driver’s License

• Prepared for flexible hours and travel
