In this role on an 18-month contract, you will engage primary caregivers and community members to enhance family dynamics. Your task is to address critical emotional needs and guide families through treatment processes effectively.
Experience with Anishinabek families will be highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate emotional support for families in crisis
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective caregiving
• Work with Anishinabek children and their families
• Conduct home visits to assess and support family needs
• Required travel throughout Thunder Bay District during work hours
Requirements:
• Minimum two-year diploma in Human Services necessary
• Three or more years of counseling experience required
• Familiar with community resources for Anishinabek families
• Preferred training in Triple P and Circle of Security
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid Class “G” Driver’s License
