Children's Services Worker

Provide vital case management for children with TBCAS as a Children's Services Worker in Thunder Bay. This full-time, in-person role focuses on child safety, intervention, and support services.

Working under the guidance of a Child Welfare Manager, this contract position emphasizes collaboration with a dedicated service delivery team. You will provide care and support for children under the custody of the Children's Aid Society, ensuring their well-being and permanency. The role involves extensive community engagement and planning tailored to individual family needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet all Ministry Standards for children in care

• Develop case plans with the service delivery team

• Facilitate and supervise family access visits

• Support transitions for children returning home

• Liaise with community organizations for resource referrals

Requirements:

• Social Service Worker or related diploma required

• Valid G Driver's License and reliable vehicle

• Experience in trauma-informed practices

• Ability to assess families effectively

• Strong documentation skills for case notes
