CICE Field Placement Coordinator

Take a pivotal role with Confederation College as a CICE Field Placement Coordinator in Thunder Bay. Engage with local businesses to create valuable field placement opportunities for CICE students.

In this position, you will collaborate with College staff in the CICE department to support and develop field placements. Ideal candidates will bring a post-secondary diploma in a relevant field and at least two years of experience providing employment services for individuals with cognitive or physical challenges. Your organization and communication skills will be essential in this impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain databases for students and businesses

• Network with local businesses to identify placement opportunities

• Support CICE program and student initiatives

• Provide employment services for individuals with challenges

• Organize and plan effective placements for students

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience

• Post-secondary diploma in Human Services or related field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities

• Knowledge of community agencies is an asset
