Position: Open-Pit Gold Mine Truck Operator
Location: Greenstone

Become a vital member of an innovative gold mining team as an Open-Pit Haul Truck Operator. Ensure operational efficiency while adhering to safety protocols in this permanent role.

In this role, you will operate haul trucks under the supervision of the Mine Operations Supervisor. Key functions include conducting risk assessments, maintaining equipment, and recording safety and productivity metrics. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills and an eagerness to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Mine Haul Truck following safety guidelines

• Complete Field Level Risk Assessments regularly

• Keep equipment cabins clean and serviced

• Maintain accurate logs and safety reports

• Communicate with team via radio for safety

Requirements:

• Previous experience in mining or related fields preferred

• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery required

• Heavy Equipment Operator training needed

• Valid Ontario G1, or higher driver's licence

• Strong commitment to safety and effective communication
