AM Sorter

Position: AM Sorter at Purolator
Become a vital part of Purolator as an AM Sorter in Thunder Bay, ON. This permanent role is essential for efficiently sorting freight and packages for timely deliveries.

As an AM Sorter, you'll work Monday to Friday from 3:15 AM to 9:30 AM, ensuring that freight and packages are sorted by destination and size. While specialized education is not required, proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with team members. You will contribute to meeting client delivery schedules and maintaining operational productivity in our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload freight from trucks onto the conveyor

• Sort freight by destination and prepare for delivery

• Scan packages to identify misroutes and priority items

• Ensure timely loading of freight into delivery vehicles

• Manually handle bulk or non-conveyable items

Requirements:

• No prior experience necessary for this position

• Must be proficient in English for clear communication

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment

• Capability to handle physical tasks effectively

• Reliability and commitment to team success
