Assistant Director of Nursing ADON RN

The Shift Coordinator will assist in overseeing manufacturing operations with the objective of maximizing productivity of quality products while minimizing costs. Ensure that all processes are being followed in the completion of work tasks. Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met. Assist with overseeing the operations, maintenance, and purchase and stocking of supplies and raw materials.

Maintain and update daily production records and produces reports as necessary. Ensure that safety procedures are followed by all employees.

• Help lead production of work on assigned shift, ensuring that work is produced accurately and on schedule, in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
• Working with manufacturing leaders, assist in facilitating the maintenance of safe, healthy and environmentally friendly working conditions through training & educating employees in proper safety procedures, such as PPE, ergonomics and/or environmental concerns such as waste, hazard materials handling.
• Communicates with customers, suppliers, customer service, and production.
• Reads and understands internal job instructions and shipping requirements.
• Trains and develops personnel. Participates in the development and implementation of procedures and team meetings.
• Rules up, copy checks, and proofread press sheets before each run.
• Troubleshoots mechanical issues as needed.
• Reviews QC pulls
• Ensures that next shift is set up and ready to run.

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment; print experience highly preferred.
• Previous experience working with manufacturing safety procedures, such as PPE, ergonomics and/or environmental concerns such as waste, hazard materials handling.
• Previous Supervision of team/department experience is required with the ability to lead, instruct, and guide others.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have superior problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work varying shifts, overtime and/or weekends.
