HOURS: 9.25 hours per day (10 days on, 4 days off)
LOCATION: Thurso
Salary: £63,100 - £71,100

We're looking for a Site Manager to lead operational delivery, manage client relationships, oversee site-based teams, and ensure contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.
As this is a site-based role, accommodation will be provided to candidates as well as a fleet vehicle
Role Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day on site operational delivery of an Asbestos Removal contract, including RAMS creation and submission, daily site record collation, stakeholder engagement with the client, service providers and Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractor, while ensuring safe, compliant and efficient contract execution.
- Manage and develop site-based teams, including direct line management of two Asbestos Analysts, through coaching, mentoring, performance management, training, succession planning and proactive workforce planning to maximise engagement and productivity.
- Ensure technical and regulatory compliance through proactive audit planning, coordination with the Technical Manager, maintenance of industry standards, and adherence to all quality, safety and contractual requirements.
- Oversee operational and financial performance by managing KPIs, labour resources, budgets, payroll inputs, timesheet collation, invoicing support, and submission of information required for payment applications, ensuring delivery against contractual targets.
- Maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact, supporting contract mobilisation, resolving operational issues, coordinating equipment maintenance and stock procurement activities, and driving continuous improvement to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Proven experience in people management, including coaching, mentoring, interviewing and team development.
- Strong understanding of budgets, financial controls and resource management.
- Demonstrable experience managing client relationships and delivering against contractual KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to motivate high-performing teams.
- Variable but generally one or more of the following: P402, P403, P404 and P405 BOHS proficiency modules, ideally with a Certificate of Competence or equivalent RSPH qualifications, together with a minimum of 3 years' industry experience.
