This position is for a full‑time Maintenance Technician II at The Hilarita, a 102‑unit affordable family housing community in Tiburon, CA. This is a HUD property. Must have 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience and knowledge in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. Will be required to complete janitorial duties. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must have basic computer skills.
Salary range: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour; hiring range generally $25.00 - $31.00 per hour, DOE.

Position OverviewThe Maintenance Technician II performs a wide variety of maintenance duties and is expected to repair and maintain most items on a property without outside vendor assistance. The work is performed at a property with 100+ units.
Responsibilities- Lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, door and window functioning and locks.
- Interior repairs related to walls and doors.
- Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs and switches.
- AC filter changes, coil checks, cleaning and repairs as needed.
- Annual unit inspections.
- Ensure unit turnover within 5 days.
- 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
- Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
- Clean DMV and reliable transportation.
- HVAC certification plus.

Drug testing is required for candidates receiving a conditional offer. Testing does not include marijuana/cannabis.
