Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Basketball Coach to lead our members in developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive athletic environment. The ideal candidate will design and implement practice plans, provide strategic game insights, and cultivate players’ physical and mental growth.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include assessing player performance, developing training programs, and mentoring athletes both on and off the court. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential.
- Plan and conduct effective practices and training sessions
- Foster a supportive and motivating team culture
- Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate with parents and stakeholders about team activities
- High school diploma or equivalency, some college preferred.
- Current CPR/First-Aid/AED Certification
- Previous coaching experience or relevant playing experience
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and tactics
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of all skill levels
- Ability to work independently. Must be punctual, reliable and conscientious.
- Basic computer skills, MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook, Clubsoft Access
- Have good written and verbal skills for effective communication

This job involves working in a fitness center that includes cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines, free weights and other associated training devices.
The job often involves the lifting of weights, assisting members with lifting movements, and cleaning equipment. Instances will occur when personal trainers will be expected to lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls;
reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Schedule is varying/flexible base in client scheduling, group exercise schedule, and clinics plus an average of 2 scheduled administrative hours per week. Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Benefits for 30+hrs/week.
