Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum plus bonus, access to a company van and Veolia benefits.

Hours:

40 hours per week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Location:

Tidworth, with travel to sites in the South region.

What you'll be doing
  • Working in and around MOD sites, including high‑security areas with special access
  • Operation and maintenance of potable water network, water treatment works, storage reservoirs and water abstraction processes
  • Planning and implementation of leakage control activities
  • Analysis of network data
  • Identifying and responding to leaks and bursts
  • Monitoring potable water network for flow, pressure, leakage, etc.
  • Preparation of reports
  • Water quality sampling
  • Potential participation in out‑of‑hours standby arrangements

This role involves working outdoors in all weather and requires responding to and resolving emergency situations.

What we're looking for
  • Qualification/experience in water network and/or treatment operation or extensive experience in a clean water operations environment
  • Thorough working knowledge of leakage identification and control
  • Awareness and understanding of regulatory aspects within the water industry, particularly water quality
  • Valve/network control and isolation operations
  • Leakage management experience
  • Water quality sampling experience
  • Water regulations inspector (certified)
  • Accredited Risk Assessor
  • Water hygiene (EUSR)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
