LOCUM BAND 5 NURSE MOD TIDWORTH FULL TIME £NEG doe in Wiltshire

Dream Medical are working with the MOD and have an exciting opportunity for a practice nurse to gain experience within the Ministry Of Defence. This is a full time post for a band 5 nurse and the sessions are a combination of shifts hrs and hrs Monday to Friday.

This is initially a 4 week locum but will be reviewed at the end of the month with a view to extend on an ongoing basis.

You will be based in a fast paced base in Wiltshire covering Chronic Disease Management (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Hypertension, Spirometry), Cervical Cytology, Adult immunisations and injections (B12, flu vaccines…), Ear Irrigation, Leg Ulcers, Wounds & Dressing, Smoking Cessation, Venepuncture and Healthy Living Advice.

You must:

• Be NMC registered with a valid pin
• Be able to provide clinical updates for all skill sets mentioned
• Have an Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year
• Have 6 months practice nurse experience within a GP surgery or medical centre

Previous MOD and DMICP experience is desirable but not essential.

This role offers a lucrative rate of pay that is paid on a weekly basis as well as a one-to-one consultancy.
